In anticipation of the highly awaited second edition of the esteemed Lagos Ex-Internationals Cup, the Lagos State Football Association Committee Members, under the leadership of Chairman Hajji Gafar Liameed, paid a courtesy visit on Friday to the Founder of Bet9ja Foundation, Hon. Kunle Soname, to present the elegantly crafted giant Ex-Internationals Cup Trophy at his office.
During the trophy presentation, the LSFA Chairman praised Hon. Kunle Soname as a significant asset to Nigerian football, highlighting his commendable efforts in addressing youth restiveness and social issues, thus providing them with a promising future and opportunities to build careers.
Hon. Kunle Soname, the Founder of BET9JA Foundation, expressed gratitude for the LSFA’s visit and acknowledged that the Lagos Ex-Internationals Cup initiative is in harmony with the mission and vision of the BET9JA Foundation, which focuses on promoting community development and supporting the welfare of ex-Internationals.
Additionally, Soname graciously accepted the proposal for the Ex-Internationals Cup and appointed a director from Bet9ja Foundation to collaborate with the Lagos FA, starting with a working visit to refine plans, logistics, and finalize the official kickoff schedule.
This meeting further solidifies the LSFA’s dedication to cultivating corporate partnerships aimed at advancing football development throughout the state.
