In an exclusive interview, Mosports FC CEO and Director, Raymond Moses Udofeh, exudes confidence and optimism as his team prepares to take on the best in the state President Federation Cup and NLO1 competitions. “We’re not just participating, we’re competing to be amongst the best” Udofeh declares.
The Mosports FC boss reveals that the team has undergone rigorous training sessions, honing their skills and building their endurance. “Our coaches, led by Coach Caleb Baba, Coach Josiah Babiyo Chindadi, Coach George Amaku, and our recent National Institute of Sports, NIS graduate, Mrs Bukola Grace Omisakin, have drilled the players relentlessly, focusing on tactics, strategy, and mental toughness. They’re ready for the challenge.”
Udofeh praises his team’s physical and mental preparedness, citing their intense training regimen. “The players are in top shape, physically and mentally. They’re focused and hungry for success. We’ve worked on their psychological preparation, building their confidence and resilience.”
As the competitions approach, Udofeh is bullish about his team’s prospects. “We’re not just making up the numbers; we’re here to compete with the best. We’ve got talented players, experienced coaches, and a winning mentality. The opposition should be worried.”
When asked about standout players, Udofeh smiles, “Every player is key, from our goalkeepers, defense, midfield and attack are in top form. They have been instrumental in our preparations, and I’m excited to see them take on the best.”
Udofeh also commended the management staff for their tireless efforts, including Coordinator and Secretary, Mr. Nelson Shuaibu, Kit Manager, Mr. Abel Bulus. “Their dedication and expertise have been invaluable to our success.”
With the whistle about to blow, Mosports FC is ramping up its preparations. “We’re ready, we’re hungry, and we’re focused. When the organisers beckon, we’ll be there, and we’ll give it our all,” Udofeh declares.
