It was a historic moment as one of Buruj FC’s European partners, Spain RUSH SPF International Football Academy arrived in Nigeria.
The prestigious international academy officials arrived in Lagos on Monday evening and they were received by the officials of Buruj FC and Buruj Football Academy led by the CEO Waheed Buruj.
The entourage moved straight to the Ogolonto camp of the club in Ikorodu where they were received by the players of the club.
For the players it was a scene of joy as they were filled with joy and excitement as they were very happy to have the European partners live with them in their camp.
In a chat with the press, immediately the President of the Spain RUSH SPF International Football Academy, Camacho Ruben Manuel said they are on a working visit to Buruj Football Club and Buruj Football Academy as they are happy to work with the team for progress and advancement of the budding talents abound in the football club and the academy.
” We are happy to be here, and we will be seeing the players of the academy in practice games on Tuesday” said Camacho Ruben.
He was enthusiastic about the collaboration between the two academies and dropped a hint on the numbers of players that will be following them back to Spain, when quizzed by the press.
” Let’s see how many of them will impress us but we are willing to take as much as possible ” he noted.
Camacho also advises the players on the need to be of good behaviour when they get Europe, they need to shun all vices which can debar their progress when they gets to Europe.
Meanwhile the CEO and Director of Buruj FC cannot hide his feelings and fulfilment as he revealed that at least two players will move to Spain this summer.
” No doubt i am happy to have our partners with us live in our camp.”
“We are just our doing work, putting in the necessary shift to ensure our players fulfil their dreams. It’s now a reality for some them as two players have been confirmed to move to Spain, that is
Victor Chisom Chukwu and Ubong Samson will be moving to continue their development”.
” We are looking forward to getting more players confirmed later on Tuesday after our partner chief scout Tawah Hemed Haj will have seen the players in training and match situations, Waheed Salaudeen concludes.
The players led by their captain , Sunday Edet Iyang cannot hide their feelings and excitement as they were seen singing and chanting and praising God for making that choice of joining Buruj Football Academy and Football Club.
” We are happy to be here , and this further strengthens our belief in fulfilling our dreams” begins Iyang .
” Personally for me it’s an opportunity to show what I am capable of as I am ready to make the best of this golden chance to move abroad “.
