The Flying Eagles will jet out to Chile for a two-week camping without defender, Adamu Ba’aba Maigari who is injured and was not able to recover before the final list was drawn.
Head coach, Aliyu Zubairu is expected to release his final 21-man list for the World Cup on Friday, September 19. The team will jet out to Chile on a two-week training camp on Sunday.
Maigari had a knee injury and could not recover in time, despite spirited efforts by team doctors, leaving Zubairu and the team in a tight position, as they have to turn late attention to a replacement.
