Nail-biting moment: man scaled 210m crane
An adrenaline junkie scaled a 40-storey 690ft crane – without any safety ropes, in the early hours of Monday morning.
Urban explorer Syed Bukhari, 21, filmed himself risking his life to climb the crane – said to be one of the tallest in Europe, at One Bishopsgate Plaza, central London. Mr. Bukhari, who runs a YouTube channel, said: “Visually, it was the best climb yet. I timed it perfectly with the sunrise.”
One Bishopsgate Plaza, the site of his crane stunt, is still under construction in the City of London. With 40 floors now, it will ultimately be a 43-storey tower with a mixture of high-rise residential and hospitality units.
