Season 4 of PROFEMATEUR 7 promised to be intriguing
The 4th edition of the annual 7-a-side women football tournament is set to be at its very best this season.
PROFEMATEUR 7 is a tournament set up annually by Royaltoms International Football Academy to celebrate the Nigeria National Women Footballers. The current and past Super Falcons of Nigeria players has recorded and are still recording numbers of achievement in Women Football generally. Thereby one of the reasons why they need to be celebrated year in year out.
This is set up to commend and encourage the past and present players of the Super Falcons for their great service to their fatherland Nigeria said Olajide Royal. We cannot but celebrate the 9-time African Champions for their achievements. It is worth it and the reason why this tournament was set up.
Olajide Royal, the President of RIFA also added that it is an opportunity for new women football talents to be unearthed. Football scouts, NWFL Coaches and Managers will be there or be represented to scout players to plight their football career in the professional clubs at home & abroad and Nigeria National teams.
The tournament will feature players from every corner of Nigeria which will see female players coming from all regions of the country to compete. Players will be seeded into different teams flooded with the names of the Super Falcons players and Ex-Internationals.
The First edition was won by Asisat Oshoala Ladies, Second edition by Ayisat Yusuf Ladies and 3rd edition by Oluehi Tochukwu Angels.
The Season 4 edition will feature 16 teams and one of the teams will eventually emerge as the winner. The 16 teams are: Wemimo Angels, Nkwocha Doves, Maureen Mmadu Queens, Ayisat Yusuf Angels, Oluehi Angels, Oshoala Ladies amongst others.
The fourth edition of PROFEMATEUR 7 will be taking place at Emmanuel Primary School, Ojota, Lagos from 17th – 27th October, 2019 by 3pm daily.
PROFEMATEUR 7 is initiated by Royaltoms International Football Academy.
