Former Enyimba winger, Chidiebere Nnachi has tendered an apology to Enyimba Chairman, Kanu Nwankwo for making a video against the club.

Nnachi was among the players who were lured by content creator, Prince Worlu to compile a video against Enyimba FC, alleging they were owed salaries.

Enyimba released a statement proclaiming that they did not owe the players salaries.

In a message he sent to the Chairman, Nnachi claimed that he was deceived by a particular man whom he did not mention, and former captain of the side, Kalu Nweke.

Nnachi was on trial at Abia Warriors and reports suggest he failed trials at the Umuahia club, prompting him to seek forgiveness from Enyimba, hoping he would be called back to the fold.

The People’s Elephants spotted him playing for a local academy and gave him his first big break, including appearances in the NPFL.

Nnachi, whose contract expired in May 2026 claimed that he was owed June salary. However, having noticed that his contract had elapsed and the video he made was a false claim, he wanted to find favour in the club again.

Enquiries had been made for a comment by Enyimba, but the club insists it had made a statement and that the folly of those claims by the players would reveal itself in due time.
