Coal City United FC has successfully ended their big scouting programs in Abuja and Lagos. The program saw teams from different parts of the country to battle and show their talents to international scouts.
The program which was held in Abuja from March 22-24, 2026 was made possible by the Chairman of Coal City United FC, Hon. Chukwuemelie Agu Lambert. Players who were selected from the program will now go abroad for a new start and to further their football development.

“This initiative, conceived by the Club President, Hon. Chukwuemelie Agu Lambert, continues to empower and develop youth through football—both locally and internationally.
And this is only the beginning,” a statement from the club read.
The club further strengthened its partnership with its foreign partners in order to facilitate the movement of talented players.
