The Nigeria Women’s Football League (NWFL) has rescheduled matchdays 8 and 9 to February 18, following the conclusion of week 7.

This information was communicated in a circular to the clubs dated January 20, 2925. This decision comes in response to a complaint submitted to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) by one of the participating clubs, which has over five players selected for the U20 National team.

As a result of this adjustment, the NWFL Premiership will only have a one-week mid-season break.

Consequently, the league has modified its fixtures due to the 27-day hiatus. Previously, the league had taken a 20-day break for the festive season.

The NWFL consists of 19 teams, organized into two groups. The top three teams from each group, after 18 matches, will advance to the Super Six at a venue yet to be determined.
