Flying Eagles mercurial midfielder, Success Makanjuola, has praised the team’s technical team for inspiring the players to victory. The Water Academy of Abuja player came on as a second half substitute in Flying Eagles victory over rivals, South Africa.

Makanjuola who starred for Nigeria at the last U-20 world cup in Poland changed the game when he came on, resulting in the Flying Eagles second goal. He expresses his joy.

“I am really happy with our victory over South Africa. We deserve the victory because we worked hard to achieve this wonderful result.” http://www.bellsnews.com/sports/nigeria-2-1-south-africa-i-was-determined-to-make-a-difference-emeka-chinonso/

Not many players would openly show support for the technical crew but Makanjuola says they too, deserve praise

“I really want to thank the coach and the technical crew, they keep telling us to fight harder. We can make it, which I am grateful to God we did.”

Though the road is not going to be easy, we still have tougher and stiff competition ahead, but I trust our technical abilities as a team and the spirit of determination within us.”

Like his name suggests, he posits that the team will consolidate the success and get victory in subsequent games.

“We will keep on running along this positive vibes of Victory and also keep achieving good result as we progress in the competition.”

Nigeria now has 4 points from two games and will play their last group game against Morroco.
