Kano Pillars will battle Plateau United in the final of the Gusau/AhlanCup25 in what promises to be a thrilling encounter.
Kano Pillars won Group C despite losing to Plateau United, falling to goals from Samuel Kalu and Albert Hillary which secured the maximum points for the Jos based side and Ahmed Musa’s consolation goal was not enough.
Since the encounter Pillars have been impressive with three straight wins scoring 9 goals in the process.
Plateau United have been consistent with their results as they remain unbeaten to this stage.
With three draws and two wins Plateau United under the tutelage of Adesola Adegun showed promise for what is to come in the league this new season.
Their biggest result was the semifinal victory against Nasarawa United at the Lafia City Stadium with goals from Joshua Dabo and Maren Kefas silencing the fans at the stadium.
This final will be more like a revenge mission for the Sai Maisugida after losing in the group stage against the same foes.
