Abia Comets Football Club of Umuahia has presented an award of dedicated service to Dimgba Ogechi for his service to the club as captain from 2011-2015.
He was presented the award in a ceremony on Wednesday in Umuahia. The club thanked him for his meritorious service to the club and for his dedication.
He played his last season for Abia Comets in the 2024/2025 season.
The club has now appointed him as the Self-guarding officer. This is a position that was newly created by the Nigeria National League (NNL) for all league teams.
