In a display of his usual generosity, the Chairman of the Lagos State Football Association, Hajji Gafar Olawale Liameed, has once again initiated his annual scholarship program for a new group of beneficiaries participating in the NIS Coaches Course.

He has notably raised the stakes by including five female and nine male students selected from the National Association of Nigeria Students.

These individuals will join an additional group of 36 coaches chosen for the training course, contributing to the growing roster of football coaches funded by the scholarship from 36 Lion Investment Limited.

The 14 fortunate students will receive football education at the National Institute For Sports, Nigeria’s leading sports institution.

According to the sponsor, Hajji Gafar, this sports education initiative aligns with the youth empowerment vision of His Excellency, Governor Babajide Olushola Sanwo-Olu, which emphasizes the use of sports, especially football, as a means of social reengineering.
