It is becoming a normal feat for the FJ football Academy Ijapo Akure these days, as the young entertaining and enterprising team records another huge win in preparation towards their opening match of the Akure regional league which kicks off on Thursday.
In the highly contested game against the Baale’s Team, FJ Football Academy came out tops after having been held to a stalemate in the first half.
FJ Football Academy came into the second half determined to correct the mistakes of many missed chances of the first half and thus just thin 8 munites of a restart took the lead by the very in-form striker Micheal who now has Six goals in four games.
The Coaching staff of FJ made some good changes at the break which changed the tone of the game and an immediate impact was felt with the team scoring two beautiful goals in the second half after controlling possessions and doing most of the play in the opponent’s half.
After the game, the Coaches commended the players and urged them to continue pushing themselves to their greater heights.
The President who has earlier called in to encourage the team, maintained that FJ Football Academy seeks only the best talents and those who want to play football for real as a career. Chief Elvis maintained that the Management will do everything possible within its powers to help those with talents and good characters to achieve their dreams of playing football even to foreign countries.
The boys were all excited and geared up for another warm-up game on Thursday, which could be the last before their opening match league.
