The Akwa Ibom State Football Association has declared support to its newest addition, Heaven’s Race Football Academy following the take off of activities in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital.
Chairman of the board, Samuel Umoh gave the declaration in an interaction with the Chairman of Heaven’s Race Football Academy, Onowu Chukwu Mark Onyeani alongside other board members of the FA on Sunday at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.
To further solidify his support, the FA Chairman defied heavy downpour on Monday to witness the first day of the open screening for players at the Use Offot Primary School Football Field, Nwaniba Road, Uyo.
Reacting to the gesture and warmness of the Akwa Ibom State FA, Heaven’s Race Football Academy supremo, Onyeani appreciated the Samuel Umoh – led board for opening its arms to welcome the brand and affirmed his commitment towards adding value to football in Akwa Ibom State.
Secretary of the board, Comrade Kufre Etukudo, assistant secretary, Dominic Akpan and board members, Orok Orok, Udobia Udobia and Emmanuel Eduoku also took out time to attend the open screening and were presented with branded t-shirts of Heaven’s Race Football Academy as a token of appreciation for their hospitality.
Meanwhile, Heaven’s Race Football Academy has completed all formalities and is fully affiliated to the Akwa Ibom State Football Association.
