Kano Pillars

In preparation for the return leg of their CAF Champions League game against Asante Kotoko of Ghana, Kano Pillars FC smashed Gama Emirate 8-2 in a friendly match.

The Jugunu boys were merciless against the division one Gama Emirate side with a stunning victory that saw Rahaqqu Adam, Nzube Anaezemba and club legend, Gambo Muhammad on the score sheet.

This is part of serious preparations to put up a decent show in Kumasi. The continental squad has been engaged in a serious workout sessions to ensure a total victory at stake at Kumasi stadium.

The team will depart Kano to Kaduna tomorrow where the they are expected to stay for the rest of the days before departing Nigeria to Ghana, the country of Asante Kotoko.

The Sai masu gida will use the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in a decision of the club Technical assistant, Ibrahim Musa, so that the players who are expected to make the journey will get used to a natural grass pitch.

So far, all the 23 registered players are fully fit for the task at hand, no alarm for injuries yet, as confirmed by the team’s coach.
