Nigerian Beach Soccer Champions, Kebbi BSC, produced a stunning performance on Thursday to qualify for its first Round of 16 stage at the World Winners Cup with a 15-1 smashing of BS Vion of Slovakia.

The Nigerian champions had their backs against the wall but they rose to the occasion. The team lost their opening two fixtures to Copenhagen BSC of Denmark and ASD Napoli of Italy.

Two goals in the first period by Filipov and Ekene Obi opened the floodgate of goals. The team returned for the second period with determination and scored six goals, with Filipov scoring three more to take his tally to four while Hassan Muhammed scored twice and Usman Mohammed scored once.

The team wrapped up victory with emphatic seven goals in the third period, thereby qualifying as the third best team in Group A.

They will now play against Mazarron of Spain on Friday.
