Death is painful. When it comes suddenly, it becomes even more painful. It came to me with rude shock this afternoon when I heard of the demise of Professor Uche Ikonne, the PDP Governorship Candidate for the 2023 Abia Guber elections.
I join many Abians to mourn him and console his family on this shocking loss. I also extend my condolences to Dr Okezie Ikpeazu and the Peoples Democratic Party. I pray that God grant you the strength to bear this loss and to console us all.
