Emeka had never hidden his earnest desire to make a national team debut and he finally got it.

“I am super excited, I made my debut in the colours of my beloved country, I told myself while going in as a substitute, that I
was going to play as if I was playing in the finals.”

Emeka’s introduction with Makanjuola made a difference as the Flying Eagles pushed for goals and increased the tempo of the game. Emeka speaks on what his motivation was: “I was determined to make a difference in the field of play and I am happy I gave a good account of myself within the short period of time giving to me and I hope to do better and my best as well as we proceed in the competition.”

The Brooke House academy player will hope to get more playing time under coach Paul Aigbogun and further showcase his scoring talent.
