There was naira rain for players and officials of Jewels Football after a light training on Monday evening at the mainbowl of community secondary school ohanze.

The President of the academy congratulated all the players for putting up a commendable performance during the scouting programme.

The generous Abia State born football administrator charged them to remain the professionals they have always strived to be even as they embark on a 2 weeks break.

He maintained that hardwork and discipline should be their watchword, citing the impact of the just concluded scouting programme on the players, where no fewer than 8 players from Jewels were selected, encouraging the non selected ones to keep working hard and never to be discouraged in their quest to becoming superstars.

He further lavished them with cash gifts, serving as transportation fare to different routes of the country where all the players came from, a scenario that is seldom seen in football academies.
