Lagos State Football Association (LSFA) Chairman Hajji Gafar has extended his congratulations to Mamady Cisse for his outstanding debut with the Club Atletico Minero U20 team.

The Guinean-born midfielder was a pleasure to watch as his new team triumphed over their XV Uber rivals with a score of 4-1.

The playmaker demonstrated his skills with an impressive performance in the second half of the match for his team.

Discovered in Conakry three years ago, the midfield talent was developed by Baba Arigo at 36 Lion Football Club.

In a statement to the media on Tuesday, Hajji Gafar expressed his delight at Cisse’s flawless debut.

“I followed the game online and was overjoyed. It brought us immense joy at 36 Lion to see a unique talent we identified in Conakry making an impact at his new club,” said Hajji Gafar.

“Mamady Cisse, the young player we scouted from Guinea Conakry three years ago, has signed a three-year contract with Club Atlético Minero in Brazil.

“The first African to accomplish this achievement in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. It has consistently been our goal to have a player transition directly to Brazil. Attaining this now demonstrates our progress and we will not waver.

“Lion Cisse’s playing style is distinctive. His blend of flair and an instinctive ability to create opportunities from seemingly nothing, combined with his balanced strength, consistently sets him apart on the field.

“I would like to extend my special congratulations to Mr. Sheku Sheriff, Ally Badara Sampou of Academie Atouga Foot, and Cem Sagar, the CEO of Diamond Sports Management,” he remarked.

Mamady Cisse is hopeful that his impressive performances will earn him a spot on the first team of Club Atletico Minero.
