The Lagos State Football Association (LSFA) has declared the lifting of the disciplinary ban that was imposed on Coaches Bishop Lawson Sampson, Michael Adebayo, and Mr. Michael Toyon.
This resolution was made during a Virtual Emergency Extraordinary Congress Meeting of the Lagos State Football Association, which took place on Tuesday, January 27, 2026.
The meeting, attended by eight (8) board members and ten (10) congress members, started at 8:30 PM and concluded at 9:27 PM, under the leadership of the Chairman of the Lagos State Football Association, Hajji Gafar Liameed.
An official statement from the Lagos FA Secretariat, signed by its Secretary, Mrs. Vera Jatto Okechukwu, indicated that after receiving and thoroughly reviewing the appeal letters from the affected individuals, and following extensive discussions, the Congress unanimously decided to lift the lengthy ban that had been previously imposed on the three coaches.
This decision was made in the spirit of fairness, rehabilitation, and the ongoing promotion of peace and development within Lagos State football.
The Lagos State Football Association remains dedicated to maintaining discipline while also fostering opportunities for reconciliation and advancement in football administration.
