The Legacy pitch at the National Stadium in Surulere will be the focal point for the 3rd edition of the esteemed Jagaban Cup.
This year’s tournament promises to be intense, thrilling, and highly competitive, featuring eight carefully chosen teams from Lagos, Kwara, and Ogun State vying for glory and transformative opportunities in front of keen-eyed international football scouts.
As per the schedule released by tournament director Wale Joseph, the four-day football celebration will kick off with group stage matches from Monday to Wednesday, culminating in the final match on Thursday.
The opening day will feature 36 Lion trading blows with Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) team Ikorodu City at 7 am.
Following that, there will be a series of matches: FC Bethel will face Broad City, Dino SC will take on Imperial FC, and Ijebu United will compete against SGFC.
On Matchday 2, the matchups include Ikorodu City versus FC Bethel Sporting, Broad City against 36 Lion FC, Imperial FC facing Ijebu United, and SGFC going up against Dino Sporting Club.
Matchday 3 will see Dino Sporting Club play against Ijebu United, Imperial FC take on SGFC, 36 Lion FC challenge FC Bethel Sporting, and Ikorodu City meet Broad City.
The highly anticipated final of the tournament is set for Thursday at the same venue.
