Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State has announced that one of his daughters have tested positive for the coronavirus. The Governor made this known on his Instagram page. The Governor said that he and his wife, Edith will go into isolation for 14 days according Covid19 guidelines
This comes as a huge blow to Ifeanyi Okowa who has been at the forefront of battling Covid19 in Delta State.
On June 21, the Government announced that the secretary to the Government of Delta State, Mr Chiedu Ebie and the Commissioner for Information, Mr Charles Aniagwu tested positive for Covid19
Currently, the state has recorded 715 cases of Covid19.
Before the Covid19 spread to other part of the country, Governor Okowa had equipped isolation with state-of-the-art facilities
