He has set the pace and opened the doors for Nigerian coaches trained abroad to come home and start from the league. There was a theory that foreign-trained coaches do not do well in the NPFL, but Finidi has altered it. He courageously took the most difficult job in the NPFL–that of managing Nigeria’s most successful club. His story is that of resilience, courage and determination.
