The management of FC ONE Rocket and Carabana Football Academy, on behalf of players and officials, congratulates Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, his deputy, Senator Akon Eyakenyi on their recent assumption of office.
Speaking on Umo Eno’s victory and takeover, Chairman of FC ONE Rocket and Carabana Football Academy, Rt. Hon. Otuekong Nse Essien, who joined thousands at the swearing in ceremony seven days ago, expresses optimism in the capacity of Pastor Umo Eno to take sports to the next level in Akwa Ibom State as contained in his “Arise Agenda”.
While showing gratitude to the immediate past Udom Emmanuel administration for constructing the Eket Stadium, which serves as the home ground of FC ONE Rocket, and has made the Nigeria National League (NNL) Super 8 qualification possible, and remodelling the Uyo Township Stadium, Essien charges the Pastor Umo Eno – led government to build on the gains and maintain Akwa Ibom’s status as the “Home of Sports Infrastructure”.
Essien also promises to continue contributing his quota to sports development by providing employment for youths of Akwa Ibom and beyond, help them achieve their dreams and take them off the streets through the FC ONE Rocket and Carabana Football Academy platforms, and wishes Pastor Umo Eno the best as he pilots the affairs of the “Land of Promise”.
