The Enyimba/Hamkam FC Youth Development program entered its second day at the Enyimba Stadium on Monday as partners from the Norwegian club, Hamkam FC were on ground to take active part in the events.

Club Chairman, Kanu Nwankwo was available throughout the day alongside Sporting Director, Ifeanyi Ekwueme.

The program of the day began with training of coaches in Aba by the Hamkam FC coaches after which they supervised a game of the U17s with practicals in-between, in a bid to demonstrate what had been taught. Coaches of the Enyimba youth teams had active share in handling their teams.

Papilo FC U19 and U17 also played while Enyimba U15, U17 and U19 played too. On Sunday, members of the Enyimba main team who did not travel for the game against Katsina United played with the feeder team as part of the event too. The Hamkam FC coaches also watched Enyimba vs Rivers United on Saturday.

The program continues on Tuesday with more teams and events expected.

The Enyimba/Hamkam FC partnership was attracted by the Kanu-led administration and the first program last year yielded results as players were scouted for trials in Europe while the coaches were trained on modern trends in football.

The program ends on Wednesday, February 19 after which some young players would be penciled down for possible trials in Europe.
