The Nigeria Football Federation has extended invitation to University of Connecticut forward, Chioma Okafor to join the Super Falcons camp in preparation for the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.

According to a letter from the Federation, the forward is expected to arrive camp in Lisbon on June 20th.

Chioma is born to a Malawian mother and a Nigerian father and on Thursday, the Malawian Football Federation announced that she has chosen to represent Nigeria.

The Super Falcons list for the tournament is still expected to be released but a friendly game with Portugal is on the cards, after which the team will also play against the Black Queens of Ghana in Morocco.

The training camp in Portugal is scheduled for June 21 to June 25, 2025
