Members of the Enyimba Supporters club have thrown their weight behind FIFA Amb.Kanu Nwankwo’s led management and rallied the team to beat Inter Lagos on Sunday.
The Enyimba FC Supporters Club, famous in the country and beyond came in their numbers, with songs and cheerful faces to encourage the boys ahead of their first home game of the season.
The Supporters Club publicly pledged their loyalty to the Chairman and his management, including the Technical Adviser and his crew.
Fabled for their decades of unwavering support to Nigeria’s most successful club, they thrilled the players with soul-lifting songs. They vowed to keep supporting the team and were confident that the team will bounce back and get victory against their visitors.
The Chairman promised them his own support as well. Speaking on behalf of the players, Sopuruchi Dimgba thanked them for their encouraging words and promised that the team will make them proud.
The People’s Elephants lie in wait for Inter Lagos on Sunday, their first home game of the season. The match is slated for 4pm at the Enyimba Stadium.
